What is Extended Licensing?

While your ONTHEBIASTUDIO subscription includes a robust Standard License - and the purchase or use of any ONTHEBIAS asset - certain use cases require additional rights. That’s where Extended Licensing comes in.

Extended Licensing is designed for:

Enterprise projects
Resale and redistribution
Large-volume production
Use in AI training datasets
Integration into SaaS or marketplaces

Who Needs Extended Licensing?

You may need extended licensing if you:

Plan to resell, sub-license, or redistribute OTB assets
Intend to use designs in retail products produced at scale
Are creating products that generate revenue from the asset itself (not just through use)
Are a large organization using our tools internally
Will embed our assets in software, design apps, or other systems
Will use the assets in training or fine-tuning an AI model

Key Restrictions Without Extended Licensing

Without purchasing extended rights, you may not:

Sell or distribute the original asset files or derivative files (e.g. PSDs, vectors)
Use our assets for apps, AI systems, or marketplaces
Include assets as-is in print-on-demand or automated design systems
Upload assets to any platform or tool for public reuse

Enforcement & Ownership

ONTHEBIAS retains full copyright and IP ownership of all design assets, even when used under an extended license. Licensing grants use, not ownership.

We regularly monitor platforms, factories, and resellers for unauthorized use. Violation of these terms will result in license revocation and legal action if necessary.

A Note on AI Training Use

Assets may not be used in any AI model training, fine-tuning, or data enrichment processes without a custom extended license. If you'd like to use ONTHEBIAS design assets as part of your AI or generative tool workflow, we support innovation - but it must be licensed.
